If you haven't been by the team's website ( recently, you've missed a new look! We recently upgraded to the latest version of the engine that runs the back-end of the site, which allowed for a new front-end appearance! There's a new section on the Home page, "Need to Know Now News" that will be updated often. Be sure to check this day for important news for the immediate future. The remaining content within the site is very similar to the previous site and actions to declare for meets remains the same. Head to the site and poke around. Tech Suit Info
Some of you may be aware of a USA Swimming rule change which was passed in Fall 2018, banning tech suits for 12 & under swimmers beginning Sept. 1, 2020. Tech suits are made from water repellent materials and compress the body to make the swimmer more hydrodynamic. These suits can cost $90-$500 dollars.

The All-City Board, which oversees the rules used in the All-City Pool League, voted in November 2018 to phase in this ban over the next two years. For this summer of 2019, tech suits will not be allowed for 8 & under swimmers. The following summer (2020), tech suits will not be allowed for 10 & under swimmers. By the summer of 2021, the All-City rule will match to USA Swimming rule (no tech suits for 12 & under swimmers).

2019 All-City Meet Info

This shift applies to only this year's event ONLY and will be back to its historical Thu-Sat schedule in 2020. Individual preliminary swims and SOME final relays will occur on Friday for 11 & older swimmers and Saturday for 10 & younger swimmers. Individual final swims and MOST relays will occur on Sunday for all ages.

The All-City Dive meet will occur on its normal days, Monday July 29 and Tuesday July 30 at Ridgewood Pool.

Warm-ups for All-City occur Sunday July 28. The Dive team will warm up at Ridgewood at 10 AM. The Swim team will warm up at Westside at 7 PM. More details regarding All-City will be shared throughout the season as they are finalized.
