I Could Write a Book About That

Did you miss it? I spent five minutes trying to think of what I could write a book about, and came up with nothing. Nor could my wife. I guess I am a just a simple man enjoying the book of life as the pages unfold in front of me. (Maybe other fodder will be more inspiring.)

1. What are the first things that you do in the morning to start your day? I hit the snooze button four time for more "sleep," shower, shave, dress eat a bowl of cereal, then walk or bike to work. 45 minutes and it's all over

2. What are the last things that you do at night before going to bed? Turn out all the lights and sometimes read.

3. What daily routine have you recently added to your day? I try to remember to take my digicam everywhere I go.

4. What routine do you wish you get rid of? I don't think I could get rid of one, they are all important. I would like to add some sort of daily exercise, but I'm a lazy procrastinator.

5. What's the one thing that makes you feel like something is missing if you don't do it some point within your day? If I don't connect with the internet or some other technology in some way.

1. If you could eat dinner with and "get to know" one famous person (living or dead), who would you choose? My first reaction is Albert Einstein, but he might talk above me.
2. Has the death of a famous person ever had an effect on you? Who was it and how did you feel? I was at a wedding when Princess Diana died. I remember someone saying to me, "this is one of those things that you will know where you were when it occurred." And it was. The other was the Challenger exploded. (I was in church in sixth grade.)
3. If you could BE a famous person for 24 hours, who would you choose?I would be me as a famous person. I would like to know what it's like to work hard to have any privacy.
4. Do people ever tell you that you look like someone famous? Who? Once, someone thought I was Matthew McConaughey.
5. Have you ever met anyone famous? Not really.

1. What is your favorite time of year? The changing of the seasons into and out of summer.

2. What is it about your favorite season that, well, makes it your favorite season? The temp is right, and there is much anticipation in the air.

3. What is your least favorite time of year? Why? When winter drags its heels in relenting to spring. Basically, right now.

4. Do you do anything to celebrate or recognize the changing of seasons? My birthday commonly falls on the first day of fall. That's about it.

5. What's your favorite thing to do outside? Anything outside is good. By driving around with the windows down is fun. Camping and hiking is the ultimate.

1. What's your favorite animal? I think jaguars are very cool. Badgers are neat, too.

2. What pets have you had in your lifetime? Only fish.

3. Is there any specific pet that you've wanted but never had? Why? I think I have outgrown my allergies enough to have a dog. I would love to have a large yard for it to run around in.

4. Are you allergic to any animals? Very allergic to cats. They're stupid anyways.

5. Do you have any 'pet' pet peeves (your pets or others')? Cats. All cats.

1. What's your favorite vacation spot? My favorite place that I have ever been to is Denali National Park in Alaska. That's the farthest I have ever been away from home.

2. Where do you consider to be the biggest hell-hole on earth? Any porta-potty at the end of a weekend-long music festival.

3. What would be your dream vacation? I have a honeymoon coming my way. That will be dreamy.

4. If you could go on a road-trip with anyone, who would it be and why? I would take anyone that would be willing to go. A trip to the Pacific Northwest would be cool.

5. What are your plans for this weekend? Got Badger Hockey tonight and tomorrow night. I think there will be a haircut in there too. But it's supposed to snow.

1. Hey, baby, what's your sign? Do you think it fits you pretty well? I am on the border between Libra and Virgo. You can make any astrology fit anyone with enough generation.

2. What's the worst birthday gift you've ever received? Can't say I have ever had a bad one. At least not something that I couldn't return.

3. What's the best birthday gift you've ever received? It may not be the best, but I got a cool remote control boat for my 25th birthday. It was something that I always wanted.

4. What's the best way you've celebrated your birthday thus far? Every birthday celebration has been fun. (What a lame answer.)

5. What are your plans for this weekend? Chillin' & working on Wedding things.
